To tease the Gorillaz's entry into Fortnite, we started with a subtle activation at the House of Kong retrospective, weeks before the announcement. Initially serving as wayfinding, our experience gradually transformed, adding Fortnite-themed elements that got fans speculating online.

Shipping containers covered in graffiti paid homage to Plastic Beach, using upcycled items to reflect a decaying world. Inside, a backstage area, reminiscent of Fortnite's Festival, further hinted at the collaboration. This evolving experience kept fans engaged and built excitement for the reveal.
